Dolly Parton Announces Release of 48th Solo Record “Run, Rose, Run”

Dolly Parton has just announced yet another dive back into the country music scene with the upcoming release of her 48th solo album Run, Rose, Run.

According to the big-haired icon, the record is set to drop on March 4th. It will consist of 12 new songs, including collaborations with Ben Haggard, Joe Nichols, and Richard Dennison.

The album is paired with Parton’s novel of the same name, which she co-authored with the esteemed James Patterson. The book will be released just a few days after the album, on March 7th.

Along with the announcement, Parton also released the album’s first single “Big Dreams and Faded Jeans.”

“So many people come to Nashville with their sack of songs,” Parton said in a statement. “Whether they’re running from anything or not, they’re running towards a future. That’s what ‘Big Dreams and Faded Jeans’ is all about.” Listen to the new track below.
