According to tasteofcountry.com, it has been more than four years since Dierks Bentley has released a studio album, however, his next album is on its way. Bentley recently opened up about the upcoming project while on a podcast saying, “The album is done, I’m just kind of wrapping up some collaborations and some final mix stuff, but yeah. I don’t think it’s gonna come out for a while, but it’s done, which is a weird thing to say because I’ve been working on it for three years.” The album will feature 14 tracks, and Bentley hasn’t yet released information about who may be featured on the album. Bentley’s lead single from the unnamed studio album is titled, “Gold” and is described as, “The song’s kind of about just being present in the moment you’re in,” he says. “The grass isn’t always greener, although the mountains are a little taller in Colorado, but the grass isn’t always greener,” by the Country singer.
