In a historic moment for the Phoenix Suns, Devin Booker has become the franchise’s all-time leading scorer. During a game against the Portland Trail Blazers on February 3, 2025, Booker surpassed Walter Davis’s long-standing record of 15,666 points. He achieved this milestone with a three-pointer in the third quarter, bringing his career total to 15,668 points.
Booker, 28, accomplished this feat in his 10th NBA season, all with the Suns, over 642 games. In contrast, Davis set the previous record over 766 games between 1977 and 1988.
Despite Booker’s impressive 34-point performance, the Suns narrowly lost to the Trail Blazers in overtime, with a final score of 121-119. Former Suns center Deandre Ayton contributed significantly to the Blazers’ victory, recording 25 points and a season-high 20 rebounds.
Booker’s achievement solidifies his status as a cornerstone of the Suns’ franchise and a prominent figure in the NBA. His dedication and consistent high-level performance continue to inspire fans and teammates alike.
