The great Derek Jeter turns a year older this week. He’s been retired from the New York Yankees for a few years, but his legend still holds in baseball fans everywhere. Jeter was one of the most clutch players ever and he showed it what seemed like each and every postseason he played in. He turns 42 this week.
Ian Kinsler was once a Texas Ranger, but now he plays for the Detroit Tigers and he’s quite the player. He turns 34 years old this week and was one of the key players that led the Rangers to AL pennants back in 2010 and 2011.
LaDainian Tomlinson was one of the best running backs of the last 15 years and he did it by running the football as well as through the air. He currently owns the record for 31 combined touchdowns in a season (rushing and receiving) and turns 37 this week.
Darren Sproles, Deron Williams, Quinton Jackson, Matt Flynn, Richard Jefferson, Kurt Warner, Danny Green, and Champ Bailey are all celebrating birthdays this week.
