On Thursday, June 6th, Dan + Shay released a new version of their latest chart topping hit “Speechless” with Tori Kelly. The release comes after an overwhelming response from their fans following their joint 2019 Billboard Music Awards performance of the track.
“We noticed a lot of tweets after our @bbmas performance with @torikelly asking us to record a studio version,” the duo wrote on Twitter. “Like, a lottt of tweets. We listened, and recorded a studio version.”
The updated version features Kelly’s delicate vocals on the second verse as well as harmonies throughout the song, serving as a duet between her and Dan + Shay.
