Daft Punk To Re-Release ‘Random Access Memories’ For 10th Anniversary Edition

Daft Punk announced via twitter on Wednesday, February 22nd, that the album Random Access Memories will be getting a 2023 re-release to celebrate the project’s 10 year anniversary.

The brand new edition of the album is set to include 25 minutes of additional material over nine tracks. The album will also feature unreleased demos and studio outtakes. With fans having the option of two different formats, either a double CD or a vinyl set that includes three LPs, The CD set includes a 20 page digital booklet, with the vinyl set including a special Lose Yourself to Dance poster and a 16 page booklet.

Songs that will be on the album include, “Get Lucky” and “Lose Yourself to Dance,” with both songs featuring Pharell Williams. The album also includes “Instant Crush” with Julian Casablancas of The Strokes, “Doin’ It Right” and “Give Life Back to Music.”

The original album was released in May of 2013 and spent a total of 54 weeks on top of the Billboard 200 chart, with two weeks at the number one spot. Meanwhile, lead single, “Get Lucky” spent a total of five weeks at number two on the Billboard Hot 100.

Pre-orders for the new re-released version of the album are available now, with the LP shipping starting on May 12th.
