On Thursday Night Football, the Indianapolis Colts defeated the New York Jets, 45-30. The Colts dominated this game in its entirety, particularly quarterback Carson Wentz and running back Jonathan Taylor. Wentz threw for 272 yards and three touchdowns, as he took advantage of a weak secondary in the Jets. Taylor accumulated 200 yards total and rushed for two touchdowns as he has been a workhorse for the Colts’ offense.
This weekend offers some intriguing matchups in the NFL. Most notably, it will be a highly-offensive weekend as many high-powered teams face each other. Sunday afternoon, the Kansas City Chiefs host NFC-leading Green Bay Packers as the Chiefs look to get their season back on track. Sunday evening, the Los Angeles Rams look to continue their dominating season as they host the Tennessee Titans, who will be without MVP candidate Derrick Henry for several weeks.
