We’re almost to the end of the college basketball season and it has yet to disappoint us. The Elite Eight games this past weekend were quite amazing and now we are down to four teams!
Over the weekend, Oklahoma didn’t cruise to a Final Four appearance, but the game was never really that close. Villanova upended top seeded Kansas to make it to this point and will be facing off against Oklahoma next.
Syracuse made a miraculous comeback to beat Virginia. Their zone defense couldn’t slow UVA down, so they went to a full court press with about nine minutes left in the game. This move made all of the difference as we saw the lead get squandered and Cuse move on to the next round. Their next opponent, UNC, took down Notre Dame in an entertaining game, but one that wasn’t near as exciting.
