The NFL season is complete and so now we must transition ourselves from football to basketball! The next season to end will be the college basketball season and it’s always a great watch. It’s time to prep yourself for your NCAA brackets!
This week’s AP Top 25 was just released and it has a clear number one at the top of its rankings. Gonzaga is 24-0 and is sitting at the top after receiving 59 of the 65 total first place votes. Last year’s champion, Villanova, received six first place votes and sits at number two.
We see a lot of traditional powerhouse schools at or near the top with Kansas, Louisville, Wisconsin, UNC and UCLA all inside the top 10. There are a few newcomers though with Oregon and Baylor being very good in recent years and sitting at number five and six this week.
