Often times when we think of classic songs, we naturally think of the late 60s and 70s right? Well, don’t forget to look at the 80s; there were plenty of classic in this decade as well…
“It’s My Life,” “Livin’ on a Prayer” and “Runaway” from Jon Bon Jovi are directly responsible for his recent admittance into the Hall of Fame.
“What I Like About You” and “Dreaming in Your Sleep” from the Romantics were simple yet catchy songs that sounded great between the Stones and Beatles on Sunday mornings.
“Walk of Life,” “Skateaway,” and “Money for Nothing” were the perfect MTV songs from Dire Straits, proving the 80s was a wonderful home for these tunes.
“Don’t Stop Believing” from Journey is the single best song from the 80s that has taken on a life of its own in every sporting venue since its release.
