According to ratedrnb.com, Ciara has collaborated with Summer Walker for her latest single “Better Thangs.” The track is set for release on September 30th via Beauty Marks Entertainment in partnership with Uptown Records and Republic Records. “Better Thangs” will follow Ciara’s comeback single, “Jump,” which released back on July 8th and debuted at Number four on Billboard’s R&B Digital Songs Sales and Number 12 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart. Alongside “Jump,” was a Dave Meyers directed video with a dance heavy visual that has reach over five million views on YouTube. Both “Jump,” and “Better Thangs” will be on Ciara’s upcoming eighth album under a new record deal.
Ciara made a statement about the deal saying, “I am thrilled to partner with Uptown/Republic Records through my own label imprint Beauty Marks Entertainment, Wendy [Goldstein] and I have been in discussion to work together for some time and the enthusiasm that her and the entire team have expressed over this new project marks an exciting new chapter in my career. I am grateful to be able to continue my mission of making the world dance with a team I admire, who are at the forefront of empowering artists.”
Besides music, Ciara also has recently launched a business venture, OAM, a skincare line that launched on September 15th. OAM’s Radiance System collection is made up of a hydrating cleanser, brightening pads, brightening serum, eye revitalizer and a radiance moisturizer ($43). “I made this for women of all skin tones and skin types on a mission to be their best, to level up, to have the confidence to go after the things they deserve, to be the women they were destined to be,” shared Ciara.
