Chris Young Forced to Cancel a Number of Shows For U.K. Tour

According to countrynow.com, Chris Young had to cancel a number of his upcoming shows for his U.K. tour. Young took to social media on Wednesday morning to say, “This week started off incredibly with my 13 #1 single for ‘At The End Of A Bar’ and plans to tour in the UK but unfortunately COVID has hit my band and we are forced to cancel the shows in Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol, London, and the Long Road Festival, I am excited to play all the new music from ‘Famous Friends’ for fans in the UK and we will update you soon on plans to reschedule the run of shows.” Young and Tenpenny’s collaboration, “At The End of Of A Bar,” made it to the top of the Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase charts during this week. The song is the 13th career number one single as an artist and his 11th number one single as a songwriter for Young. The song was produced by DeStefano and Young and Co-written by Young, Tenpenny, and Chris DeStefano. Young was quoted in saying, “It’s a true testament to never skip a day of work because you never know what you might write, it’s also a hell of a lot of fun to sing, and Mitchell Tenpenny and I had entirely too much fun stacking vocals on this, so we had to make it a duet.”

“At The End Of A Bar” is on Young’s new album, Famous Friends (Deluxe Edition), the album also includes six new tracks. Chris Young’s next tour date is set for September 23rd at Fantasy Springs Resort and Casino in Indio, CA.
