Chris Stapleton Will Sing The national Anthem at Super Bowl LVII

For the third year in a row, a country performer will be honoring America prior to the start of the Super Bowl. This year, Chris Stapleton is going to sing the National Anthem during the pre-game ceremonies on February 12th. While country performers have sung four of the last seven Super Bowl National Anthems. With 2022 having Mickey Guyton and the year prior Eric Church was joined by Jazmine Sullivan at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

Other past notable country performers include, Luke Bryan in Houston in 2017,Carrie Underwood in Miami in 2010, The Chicks in San Diego in 2003,Faith Hill in Atlanta in 2000, Garth Brooks in Pasadena in 1993, Charley Pride in Houston in 1974.

Meanwhile, the last country performer to be represented during the Super Bowl halftime show was Shania Twain in 2003. Super Bowl LVII gets started at ^:30 PM ET on FOX from State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Stapleton’s last album was released in 2020 and he still hasn’t announced a headlining tour for 2023. However he will join George Strait for a series of stadium shows that start up in May.
