Chris Stapleton Delivers a Five-Star Performance Full of Soul and Rock Edge

Chris Stapleton took the stage with no frills, just raw musical talent, opening his set with White Horse from his latest album, Higher. Known for his soulful croon and guitar mastery, Stapleton kept his words to a minimum, stating simply that he had a lot of music to get through—and he delivered, balancing soulful ballads with powerful blues-rock.

Highlights from the Set
A Tribute to Tom Petty: Stapleton’s gritty cover of Petty’s I Should Have Known It brought the house down with heavy drums and intense guitar riffs, honoring the late legend with style.
Special Moments with Morgane: Stapleton’s wife and musical partner, Morgane, joined him onstage, trading heartfelt lines and harmonies that added warmth to the set.
Fan Favorites and New Gems: Songs from Higher were as well-received as classics like Cold, Parachute, and Traveller, while fan favorites like Broken Halos and Tennessee Whiskey inspired rousing singalongs.
Heartfelt Anecdotes: In a rare moment of storytelling, Stapleton dedicated More of You to a British fan who’d used it for his wedding, a tender highlight in the evening’s otherwise hard-hitting set.
Stapleton’s acoustic solos on Whiskey and You and Mountains of My Mind showcased his vocal range, while the sultry Think I’m In Love With You added a hint of playfulness. Ending with Tennessee Whiskey, Stapleton left fans feeling as “warm as a glass of brandy,” proving once again why he’s one of country music’s finest.
