Chris Brown Unhappy With Amount of Support For Latest Album

According to hiphopdx.com, Chris Brown recently released his latest album, Breezy, on June 24th, and it apparently has not gotten the support the artist expected it would. The 24 track album has features from Lil Durk, Lil Wayne, H.E.R., Jack Harlow, and Tory lanez. Even with the album debuting at the number four spot on the Billboard 200, the artist apparently was still unhappy about it, sharing his thought on Instagram. Brown stated that, “July 8th breezy deluxe album, Not that it matters…SEEMS LIKE YALL ONLY INVEST IN THE NEGATIVE STORIES ABOUT ME. CHRIS GETS IN TROUBLE (THE WHOLE WORLD IS ON it). Chris drops album [crickets]. I’m back on my gangsta sh*t. It’s BRACKING at all times.” Brown has a history of sexual assault charges and accusations, that have often put him in an uncomfortable spotlight. With the latest charges actually being dropped with Brown planning to sue the accuser for defamation. Clearly despite the success his latest album has had so far, he was expecting more support on the project.
