The trio now shares the record for the longest-running No. 1 by a solo female artist with a non-holiday release, thanks to Houston’s “I Will Always Love You,” Carey’s “We Belong Together,” and Langley’s latest country crossover sensation.
The only female-led song to spend more time at the summit remains Mariah Carey’s seasonal favorite “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” whose chart success has accumulated over several holiday seasons.
