Checking in on the Best in the NBA

The NBA has some of the best athletes in the world and we just don’t pay attention enough during bowl season and NFL playoffs. Let’s take a minute today to recognize the very best players in the NBA statistically!

Leading the way in points scored is James Harden and it’s not even close. While many thought Chris Paul would deter him from scoring 30+ points per game (he’s averaging over 32.3 points per game), this hasn’t been the case. This is partially because of Paul being injured so much you could argue.

Harden is number two in assists per game with 9.1, only trailing Russell Westbrook and his 10.1 per game. He is just .4 rebounds away from averaging a triple-double this season!

The last time we talked about leaders from the sport we saw Andre Drummond at the top of rebounds per game. This isn’t the case anymore though as DeAndre Jordan has topped him with 15.1 per game. Drummond is only .2 rebounds away though so anything could happen in 2018.
