The big NFL game is a few weeks away, so we thought it would be smart to take a look at the recent news of those already announced to play during the half time show. Coldplay and Beyoncé are set to play and both are prepping for the show already.
Coldplay’s front man, Chris Martin, talked with Entertainment Tonight recently and discussed their desire to not only look into the future, but also take a look back at the past. We’re guessing this means plenty of great half time show flashbacks, which we always enjoy. The band has won seven Grammy Awards in their time as a band are sure to win a few more with the way their recent music has been received.
Beyoncé, on the other hand, is prepping for the release of an upcoming album. Rumors were floating around that she was working on a new album, but now it’s being said that the album is complete. There is no release date for the album, but the thought is that it’ll be after her big performance. Beyoncé’s success is quite easy to see with her 20 Grammy wins as an artist and entertainer.
