Celebrating Music Anniversaries

This week in time plenty of hot things happened. They aren’t as hot as the hot summer we’re going through right now, but it’ll be a fun look back in time to see how far we’ve come. Let’s get right to it…

Five years ago this week, Katy Perry released a song we would shamelessly blast all summer long. The song is none other than “Last Friday Night” and it came off her hit album, “Teenage Dream.” This hit became her fifth number one hit off the album. Is that good?

10 years ago this week Christina Aguilera was hotter than ever and it was evident with her single, “Ain’t No Other Man,” which would become a huge hit. It was released 10 years ago this week and won her a Grammy for it.

Iggy Azalea is celebrating the anniversary of her birth this week, as she turns 26! Yes, we’re just talking about her birthday, but isn’t that a good enough reason to celebrate?
