Cardi B’s Rolling Loud Set Interrupted by Offset

Cardi B was in the middle of her headlining set at Rolling Loud in Los Angeles on Saturday night, December 15th, when her estranged husband, Offset, tried to win her back with a dramatic gesture in front of the entire festival, which completely failed.

Hours after Offset posted an extremely public apology in a pleading video to his Instagram, the Migos rapper showed up at Rolling Loud, where he was met with a chant of “CARDI TAKE OFFSET BACK” the night before, with an extravagant floral arrangement that spelled out TAKE ME BACK, CARDI.

He walked out holding a bouquet of white roses, and the cringe-worthy display of affection only went further south from there: Cardi, caught by surprise and uncomfortable, exchanges a few brief words with him in private, as the production crew clearly picked up on the tension and cut Offset’s mic before the crowd could hear him.

After it was clear that Offset wasn’t going to be getting the spotlit reconciliation he’d hoped for, the crew dimmed the lights so that he and his flowers could be quietly removed from her stage. See Rolling Loud’s statement regarding the incident here.
