Cardi B’s upcoming album Am I the Drama? hasn’t even dropped yet, but it’s already sending the internet into a frenzy—especially among RuPaul’s Drag Race fans. The title, a clear reference to Drag Race alum Scarlet Envy’s viral All Stars 6 catchphrase, has fans speculating and celebrating the unexpected crossover.
According to Atlantic Music Group’s Ashley Kalmanowitz, the Grammy-winning rapper is well aware of Scarlet’s iconic meme and happens to be a fan. “While Cardi’s album inspiration comes from her real life drama, she loves Scarlet Envy and they’re in talks to work together soon,” Kalmanowitz shared.
Scarlet, known for her sharp wit and unforgettable presence on Drag Race Season 11, All Stars 6, and UK vs. the World 2, famously asked, “Am I the drama?”—a line that quickly became meme royalty.
Fellow queens like Jan and Luxx Noir London have already joked about the connection, fueling excitement. With Cardi’s Am I the Drama? set to release September 19, fans are hoping this playful exchange could blossom into an official collaboration.
If this queen-rapper duo joins forces, one thing’s certain: the drama—and the music—will be unforgettable.
