Cardi B chose to be Marge Simpson for Halloween this year, donning a tight lime green one-piece, Cardi also painted her skin the signature yellow tone of The Simpsons’ mother and even had a red-beaded necklace and towering blue hair.
The eventful Halloween comes after Cardi works away on her sophomore album. She recently tweeted, “My son so fire [red heart emoji] ….I can’t wait to get business finish and have my third.” The rapper welcomed her first child, Kulture, with Offset, back in July of 2018. Wave was born three years later in September 2021.
Although Cardi has not put out a new body of work since her 2018 debut Invasion of Privacy, she is still continued to hit significant milestones these past few years. Back in October, it was reported that the “Tomorrow 2” rapper had hit over 100 million RIAA certified units sold, making her the highest selling female rapper to date. The news comes just after the RIAA announced that “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It,” featuring J Balvin and Bad Bunny, had each sold 11 million units in the United States.
Cardi also hit another milestone earlier on this month, when she celebrated her 30th birthday with a cabaret them party on October 11th at Poppy in Los Angeles, California. She called it “Cardi’s Dirty Thirty Cabaret,” and YG, Chance The Rapper, Chloe and Halle Bailey, DDG, Karrueche Tran and DaniLeigh were all in attendance.
