Cardi B Cancels Performance at ONE MusicFest Due to Medical Emergency

Cardi B revealed on Wednesday that she will be unable to perform at Atlanta’s ONE MusicFest this weekend due to a recent medical emergency that has left her hospitalized. The rapper took to Instagram to share the news with her fans, expressing her sadness over missing the event.

“I’m so sad to share this news, but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I won’t be able to perform at ONE MusicFest,” Cardi wrote. While she didn’t provide details about the nature of the emergency or her current condition, she assured her fans that she’s on the mend. “It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there.”

Despite the setback, Cardi B, 32, remained positive, thanking her supporters and promising to return soon: “Bardi Gang – thank you for understanding and I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry. Love y’all.”

The WAP rapper had been scheduled to perform on Saturday at the two-day festival held at Central Park in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward. The event, which boasts an eclectic lineup of artists, will continue with performances from Earth, Wind & Fire, Nelly, Fantasia, Ari Lennox, and more. Sunday’s performers include Gunna, Jill Scott, Victoria Monét, and Glorilla.

In addition to her career, Cardi B has been navigating personal changes. Last month, she announced the birth of her third child, a baby girl, with rapper Offset. The two are currently going through a divorce.

Though her absence is a disappointment for her fans, many have expressed their well wishes for a speedy recovery.
