Capitals Take Commanding 3-1 Series Lead Over Vegas

The Washington Capitals have never won the Stanley Cup Finals but things may change by the end of this week. Just last night they took a commanding 3-1 lead over the Golden Knights with their 6-2 win.

The game was never really all that close as Vegas started it off by hitting the goalposts twice but never sealed the deal. The Capitals would go on to score three times in the first and once more in the second period. Before Vegas knew it, they were down 4-0 and looking at elimination from here on out.

For the Capitals, T.J. Oshie led the way with a goal and two assists, but Evgeny Kuznetsov was also impressive, adding four assists. Game five will take place on Thursday from Vegas.
