Calvin Klein shows off a lot of The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White for its Latest Underwear Campaign

Brace yourself: actor Jeremy Allen White is front and center in Calvin Klein’s latest thirst-trap of an underwear campaign. As Fashionista reports, White, currently best known for starring in “The Bear” (and allegedly dating Rosalía), poses in the brand’s iconic branded boxer briefs, and well, tighty whities have never looked so good.

When the world woke up last Thursday morning greeted by a string of photos (and a steamy video) of the sexy, slightly disheveled actor rocking nothing but a pair of white Calvin Klein boxers, high tops, and socks while lounging around on a rooftop overlooking New York City. It was quite a way to kick off the year, and the internet’s immediate reaction to the drop? “Yes, chef!”

White doesn’t step into his chef character in the campaign — his first major fashion spot — but he does casually chew on an apple, stare deeply into the camera and pose on a New York City rooftop. According to Harper’s Bazaar, the 32-year-old Brooklyn native has become quite the heartthrob since splashing onto the scene with his breakout role as Phillip “Lip” Gallagher in the Showtime drama series Shameless. Since then, White has jumped into playing a highly accomplished but self-destructive chef on Hulu’s critical darling The Bear, which has earned him Emmy and Golden Globe noms. Most recently, the actor stars alongside Zac Efron in sports drama The Iron Claw, which the National Board of Review named one of the top 10 films of the year, after its release in December.

We probably all have The Iron Claw to thank for White’s ripped physique, as reports say he upped the ante on his workouts for his role in that film about the Von Erich wrestling family. You can also thank Emmanuelle Alt for styling the practically unclad looks, Mert Alas for capturing the images and the Calvin Klein VIP bookings team for another great casting choice.

These storied underwear-forward ads are like a celebrity rite of passage,  a time-honored tradition that has given us memorable images of Kate Moss, Naomi CampbellJustin BieberKid Cudi, Jennie Jung Kook and many more favorites over the years. (Calvin Klein’s Spring 2024 campaign is also hilariously full-circle for White, given that he dropped a comment on Alexa Demie’s own ad spot last August.)
