Calvin Klein is officially making its comeback to New York Fashion Week in 2025, in what is both a resurgence and a debut.
The brand announced Friday morning that after a six-year hiatus, it will return to the runway with a NYFW show which will feature the debut of new Creative Director Veronica Leoni, who was appointed back in May. Leoni’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection for CK will feature co-ed designs. The invite-only show is scheduled for February 7 at noon in Manhattan, per the brand.
“Calvin Klein is thrilled to return to the global stage at New York Fashion Week and unveil Veronica Leoni’s creative vision for Calvin Klein Collection,” Global Brand President Eva Serrano said in a press release of the upcoming fashion show. “Veronica’s debut marks a new era of innovation and creativity, embracing a fresh vision for the brand while honoring its iconic heritage.”
As L’Officiel reports, the brand’s last Collection show at NYFW was in September 2018 under Raf Simons. Calvin Klein, which has been emblematic of American fashion since 1968, enters a new chapter under the Italian-born designer’s creative direction. The 2025 show will mark a major moment for Leoni as well, who is an LVMH prize finalist and founder of Quira.
“Calvin Klein Collection’s return to New York Fashion Week marks a moment for New York and the global fashion industry,” Council of Fashion Designers of America CEO Steven Kolb added in the release. “The brand has been an integral part of shaping American fashion, pushing boundaries with its bold take on minimalism, and we are excited to have them back on the official NYFW schedule and look forward to celebrating the brand’s latest chapter.”
