Cage the Elephant’s most recent feature was with none other than Beck. The Nashville-based band announced their new album Social Cues back in January, and the track listing’s most enticing bit was the collaboration with Beck, just their second featured artist across their five LPs.
“Night Running” was produced by alt radio mainstay John Hill, who’s the man behind Portugal. The Man’s “Feel It Still,” Young the Giant’s “Superposition”. The track finds Beck trading vocals with Cage frontman Matt Shultz over a hazy, reggae-rock track.
Beck and Cage the Elephant are embarking on a co-headlining tour together this summer, named for the track (with Spoon as support). Aside from this one and “Ready To Let Go,” Cage the Elephant has also shared “House Of Glass” in advance of its new album.
