The Semi-Finals for the NBA Playoffs tipped off on Sunday with two exciting games.
Defending champion Milwaukee Bucks took Game 1 of the series over the Boston Celtics, with a 101-89 victory. The Bucks continue their quest to repeat their championship, as they came out strong in the second round of the Playoffs. Once again, the star for Milwaukee was Giannis Antetokounmpo, who had a triple-double with 24 points, 13 rebounds, and 12 assists.
Game 2 of the series will be Tuesday, at 4 pm PST.
The second game from Sunday was a nail-biter, as the Golden State Warriors took the first game over the Memphis Grizzlies. In the 117-116 victory, the Warriors dominated in all facets of the game. Shooting guard Jordan Poole led the Warriors with 31 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists. The Grizzlies played well, even during their loss, as star point guard Ja Morant scored 34 points and dished out 10 assists. The Warriors go into Tuesday night’s Game 2, kicking off at 6:30 pm PST, with a 1-0 lead in the series.
