According to Billboard.com, on Saturday, June 25th, Big Hit unveiled the details of J-Hope from BTS upcoming single and solo album. The announcement that was made on Weverse, stated that the solo project is titled Jack in the Box, and will be released on July 15th two weeks after the release of the single being released on July 1st. The statement also was quoted in saying what the album represents, “represents [J-Hope’s] aspirations to break the mold and grow further. “Alongside the single of which the title is yet to be revealed, “diverse content to show J-Hope’s creative identity as an artist will be introduced.” The same details were also posted on J-Hope’s Instagram page. On top of being the first BTS member to release a solo album, on June 7th it was revealed that J-Hope will be headlining the main stage at Lollapalooza on July 31st. It will be the very first time that a South Korean artist headlined a main stage at a major music festival in the U.S..
