Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band were forced to postpone a handful of U.S. shows due to illness according to statements received from the group. Springsteen took to social media to say, “We are working on rescheduling the date so please hold on to your tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled show.”
The dates that were cancelled were originally for Sunday March 12th and Tuesday, March 14th. Meanwhile, E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt stated that, “No need to be anxious or afraid. Nothing serious. Just a temporary situation. We will all be back in full force very soon, We don’t cancel.”
Previously, On February 10thVan Zandt and Soozie Tyrel tested positive for COVID-19 prior to their American Airlines Center show.
At the time Springsteen told the crowd, “We got a few members missing tonight — Stevie Van Zandt – COVID, Soozie Tyrell — COVID, Patti Scialfa… But goddammit, we’re gonna give Dallas the best show they’ve ever seen.”
