Brooke Shields trades in her Calvins for Jordache Jeans … 40 years later

Jordache has tapped Brooke Shields for the brand’s latest campaign called “You’ve Got The Look,” and the jeans brand says it’s all about promoting inclusion and body positivity. Shield’s latest modeling gig marks 40 years since her iconic Calvin Klein ads where she proudly declared, “No one gets between me and my Calvins.”  Well, it appears that Jordache has.

The actress and entrepreneur posed topless for one of the photos and shared on Instagram that she was “so excited” to share more images from the campaign.  “It was important for you to see this is my 56-year-old body and to fight the retouching,” Shields said of the shoot, styled by Deborah Watson to People. “I’m always like, ‘You better keep it honest.’ And we did.”

When discussing her past denim campaigns shot during her teenage years, she said “I appreciate it more now.” Shields was photographed by Cass Bird wearing several of the brand’s classic pieces — skinny, flare and straight jeans along with stylish tops and voluminous curls. “It’s such an honor to be my age and be represented,” Shields continued. “I feel the magnitude of it more. There’s a knowledge that comes with age, and this feels less like a job and more like a privilege.”

Shields’ latest gig with Jordache comes after she recovered from a devastating freak accident last year where she broke her right femur at a gym. While discussing her rehabilitation process with “Good Morning America,” the model and mother of two said it hasn’t always been easy, but she has found the silver lining.

“If I can turn it into anything positive, or I can teach my girls, yeah, stuff is going to happen in your life, and how you respond is going to define you, and adversity will reveal you,” Shields said. “It won’t make you as much as it will reveal you because you see who you are. You see what you’re made up of.”

“Especially women,” she added. “I want them to know that they deserve to feel good about themselves and be healthier and happier and bigger, live a bigger life.”
