Brad Paisley to Headline Appalachian State University’s 40th Anniversary Summer Festival

Country music superstar Brad Paisley is set to headline the 40th anniversary season of Appalachian State University’s An Appalachian Summer Festival. Paisley, a distinguished figure in the country music scene, will perform an outdoor concert at Kidd Brewer Stadium on July 27, 2024. Tickets for this much-anticipated event will be available to the public starting March 6.

Paisley’s career spans over two decades, during which he has garnered critical acclaim and a vast fan base. His achievements include three GRAMMYs, two American Music Awards, 15 Academy of Country Music Awards, and 14 Country Music Association Awards. Known for his captivating songwriting and dynamic stage presence, Paisley has also been a prominent figure at the Grand Ole Opry since 2001.

The festival’s announcement coincides with Paisley’s recent release of “Son of the Mountains: The First Four Tracks,” a preview of his upcoming album. This project includes notable tracks such as “Same Here,” featuring Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Fans eagerly anticipate the full studio album, expected to release in early 2024.

In addition to his musical pursuits, Paisley has ventured into various collaborations, including his “American Highway” Bourbon, nationwide insurance ad campaigns with Peyton Manning, and a partnership with Boot Barn® for his exclusive clothing line, “Moonshine Spirit by Brad Paisley.”

An Appalachian Summer Festival, a celebrated annual arts event at Appalachian State University, will unveil its complete lineup for the 2024 season in March. The festival, spanning from June 29 to July 27, promises a diverse and exciting array of performances and activities, with Paisley’s concert as a highlight of the celebrations.
