Bon Iver is set to celebrate the release of their new album, SABLE, fABLE, with a special event titled “Live Inside This State Fair” on Saturday, April 12, 2025. The festivities will take place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Terasaki Budokan sports facility in Los Angeles.
The highlight of the event is a three-game basketball tournament dubbed “SABLES vs. fABLES,” featuring band leader Justin Vernon and friends competing on the court. In addition to the tournament, attendees can enjoy various attractions:
Hrrrbek Photo Studio: Showcasing the fashion brand started by Justin Vernon and Trever Hagen, with pieces available for purchase and on-site photoshoots by Graham Tolbert.
Art Displays: Featuring works from Graham Tolbert and Eric Timothy Carlson.
Pop-A-Shot: A themed basketball game for attendees.
Record Sales: Going Underground Records will offer copies of SABLE, fABLE, with a limited edition companion zine available while supplies last.
Food and Beverages: Including offerings from Fishwife and Canyon Coffee.
Proceeds from an on-site raffle will benefit 2 A Billion, Bon Iver’s campaign focused on gender equity and combating domestic violence.
The event is free to the public, but attendees are encouraged to RSVP starting Tuesday, April 8, at 10 a.m. PDT. Please note that an RSVP does not guarantee entry, as admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.
For fans unable to attend in Los Angeles, Bon Iver has organized “fABLE sPACEs,” a series of global listening events on April 9, allowing audiences worldwide to experience the new album in communal outdoor settings.
