Blake Shelton has been in the news plenty this year because of his relationship with Gwen Stefani, but now people have even more to talk about with what’s been going on with him lately. He’s quite the giver and we see that with his recent donation. He has given $600,000 to the Jimmy Everest Center, quite the sizable donation. This center deals with cancer and is a pediatric oncology clinic.
In even better news for Blake and his fans, he’ll be playing at the 2017 Carolina Kickoff. This is a concert that will be held at Dowdy Ficklen Stadium on the campus of East Carolina University. This past year Eric Church and Kid Rock played the event.
August 19 of next year is when you’ll be able to see Blake Shelton play on the campus of ECU and is surely an event you won’t want to miss if you’re in the area.
