Blake Lively’s ongoing legal dispute with Justin Baldoni has hit another scheduling shift, as the actress’s deposition has officially been postponed by two weeks. Originally set for July 17, the new date is now July 31, according to court documents filed after mutual agreement by both parties.
The adjustment follows Judge Lewis J. Liman’s recent ruling dismissing Lively’s civil rights complaint against Texas-based publicist Jed Wallace on jurisdictional grounds. Wallace, whom Lively alleges played a central role in a coordinated online smear campaign against her, was accused of managing a digital network that spread disinformation across major social platforms.
Though the dismissal was issued “without prejudice,” Lively’s legal team made it clear they’re not backing down, stating they are exploring “numerous options” to hold Wallace accountable for his alleged involvement, which they claim was financially backed by Baldoni’s PR representatives.
This legal saga stems from accusations Lively made in late 2024, claiming Baldoni, her It Ends With Us co-star and director, engaged in sexual harassment and retaliation—claims Baldoni has firmly denied. His own counterclaims against Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds were dismissed in June.
Both Lively and Baldoni are expected to testify when the case goes to trial in March 2026 in New York.
