Blake Lively will take the stand in her high-profile legal battle against It Ends With Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni. Her attorneys confirmed Thursday that the actress plans to testify in the March 2026 trial stemming from allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation on the film’s set.
“This is a case about what happened to Blake Lively when she raised claims of sexual harassment on set and the retaliation that followed,” attorneys Esra Hudson and Mike Gottlieb stated. “Of course she will testify.”
Lively initially filed a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department in December before escalating the matter with a lawsuit. The amended complaint includes claims that other women also experienced misconduct from Baldoni.
Baldoni has denied the allegations and filed his own $400 million defamation suit, naming Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds. He accuses Reynolds of sabotaging the film and mocking him in Deadpool & Wolverine. Reynolds’ legal team is working to remove him as a defendant.
Despite the public spectacle, both parties say they will not settle. With additional witnesses set to testify on Lively’s behalf, the trial promises to be a major Hollywood reckoning when it unfolds in 2026.
