Blake Griffin has been battling injuries since the Christmas Day game against the LA Lakers, but now he has a new injury to work through. Griffin was getting closer to being fully rehabbed from a torn quadriceps when reports surfaced in the last 24 hours about him breaking his right hand.
Early on, the report was that the injury wasn’t likely to be suffered while participating in basketball drills. It was injured during an “undisclosed team-related incident.” Well, ESPN has disclosed information on the injury and it came from Griffin hitting a team staff member at a restaurant and outside during an argument.
The Clippers have not announced timetable for this injury, but it’s looking to be multiple weeks at minimum.
