Black Sabbath’s long-awaited final reunion is officially happening. The legendary heavy metal pioneers will return to their hometown of Birmingham for one last, history-making show on July 5, 2025, at Villa Park. Dubbed Back To The Beginning, the event will mark the first time Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward share a stage since 2005.
This farewell isn’t just a band reunion — it’s a celebration of heavy metal itself. The lineup features an unprecedented collection of rock royalty, including Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, Tool, and Alice In Chains. Even more, a rotating “supergroup” featuring Tom Morello, Billy Corgan, and Jonathan Davis will deliver unexpected collaborations throughout the day.
Ozzy, battling health challenges, has confirmed he’ll only perform select songs, making this likely his last live appearance. Despite initial ticket sell-outs, global fans can watch via a livestream, with proceeds benefiting Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital and other charities.
