Netflix has released the first trailer for the highly anticipated sixth season of “Black Mirror”. The sci-fi anthology series has become a fan favorite since its debut in 2011 for its dark and thought-provoking take on the consequences of technology and social media.
The trailer is a montage of haunting images set to a haunting score, including a woman looking at her reflection in a bathroom mirror and a person tied to a machine. The trailer’s tagline reads “The future is always in sight.”
“Black Mirror” creator Charlie Brooker previously teased that the new season will have “some upbeat episodes” in addition to its trademark dystopian tales. The release date of the new season has yet to be announced, but fans are already looking forward to the twisted and thought-provoking scenarios the show will bring.
