Bindi Irwin and her husband Chandler Powell welcomed their first baby ten months ago named Grace Warrior.
With a name unique as ever, the duo’s daughter has been growing up before their eyes. Just this week, the two shared a special, silly habit of Grace’s whenever they capture a new memory. According to Irwin and Powell, Grace loves to poke the lens straight-on every time they try to take a photo.
Irwin shared a short clip of their daughter’s quirk on Instagram, calling it her “new favorite thing.”
Last week, Irwin also shared her new tattoo inspired by her daughter coming into this world. The tattoo is of the words “graceful warrior” written in her late father Steve Irwin’s handwriting, with their alligator, Daisy, right next to the phrase.
Irwin shared a touching story behind both the tattoo and her daughter’s name: “The words I spoke to our daughter as I held her for the first time in my arms were, “My graceful warrior”. That’s how her name was born. This is my dad’s handwriting to keep him with me, always. Our dear alligator, Daisy, is next to these words to represent our conservation work as Wildlife Warriors. And my beautiful wedding ring in bloom. Validation every day of the three most important things in my life: family, purpose and unconditional love. ❤️ Since Grace’s breastfeeding journey ended, now felt like the perfect time for this empowering artwork.”
