Billy Ocean is Back With a New Album

Billy Ocean is back, and fans of “Get Out of My Dreams and Into My Car,” “Suddenly” and “When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going” are thrilled to hear that Billy, now 67, is set to release has new LP ‘Here You Are: The Music of My Life’ this summer.

There’s aren’t many singers or bands from the country of Trinidad, but Billy bust on the music scene in the mid-80s, earning Grammy and Billboard honors for his mixture of pop and soul tunes that eventually sold millions of records. His “Caribbean Queen” single in 1987 was nominated for the Best British Male Artist ‘Brit Award,’ and in 2010, Billy was honored with the prestigious’ Lifetime Achievement Award’ at the MOBO Award Ceremony.

Five of Billy’s classic songs will be included in the new release ‘Here You Are: The Music of My Life,’ and he’s out on tour this summer primarily abroad, but here are a few US dates and locations…
