Due to overwhelming demand, Madison Square garden Entertainment Corp. has announced that the legendary Billy Joel has added yet another show to his record-breaking residency at Madison Square Garden. Joel’s August 29th show will mark his 93rd monthly and 139th lifetime performance at The Garden.
Joel stated that he will continue to perform at the arena, “as long as the demand continues.”
He will be joining Stevie Nicks for some joint co-headlining dates this year as well. Joel is sold over 150 million records over the past 25 years and ranks as one of the most popular recording artists and entertainers ever.
Joel is currently the sixth best selling recording artist of all time and the third best selling solo artist of all time.
