Billy Joel has announced his touring plans for 2019. He will be performing at eight stadiums in North America, including four ballparks he’s never played before.
The “Uptown Girl” singer will play Camden Yards in Baltimore for the first time on July 26th, where he is the first artist to ever perform at the home stadium of the Baltimore Orioles. He will be ending a 20-year ban on concerts at the venue. Joel sold out the concert in less than 30 minutes. He’s also playing his first concerts at Denver’s Coors Field on Aug. 8 as well as Globe Life Park, home to the Texas Rangers, in Arlington on October 12th.
Joel is starting his run on March 9thin Pheonix, Arizona, at Chase Field. Before playing Miller Stadium in Milwaukee, his first performance at the home of the Milwaukee Brewers and his only Midwest show this summer. Joel is also playing Citizen’s Bank Park in Philadelphia on May 24 and Fenway Park in Boston on September 14th, his sixth, sold out concert at the stadium.
