The 2025 American Music Awards lit up Las Vegas with a dazzling night of performances, heartfelt tributes, and historic wins. Billie Eilish swept all seven of her nominated categories, including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for Hit Me Hard and Soft. With wins for Song and Pop Song of the Year for “Birds of a Feather,” Eilish cemented her place at the top of the pop hierarchy.

Beyoncé made history with her genre-defying success, nabbing Favorite Female Country Artist and Country Album of the Year for Cowboy Carter. Eminem returned with a bang, winning his first AMAs in over a decade for The Death of Slim Shady.

The night was equally memorable for its star-studded tributes. Janet Jackson delivered her first televised performance since 2018 before accepting the Icon Award, while Rod Stewart closed the show with “Forever Young” after receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award—surprised by five of his children on stage.

Hosted by Jennifer Lopez, the AMAs celebrated not just music but the stories and legacies behind it.
