Celebrating her upcoming 22nd birthday, Eilish serenaded the audience with “What Was I Made For?” from the Barbie movie, and a soulful rendition of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”

Her performance of “What Was I Made For?” was introduced by “SNL” host and Barbie star Kate McKinnon, alongside Greta Gerwig, the film’s director. The stage, bathed in vibrant pink hues, set the perfect backdrop for Eilish, who donned a light pink shirt, harmonizing with her brother Finneas on piano. The performance featured a touching tribute to the “SNL” women, showcasing their childhood photos, connecting Eilish’s song to the show’s legacy.

For her second act, Eilish transformed the stage into a Christmas haven. Dressed in a bright red vest, she delivered a heartwarming performance of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” complemented by a festive set design, complete with Christmas trees and falling snow, creating a magical atmosphere.

Eilish’s appearance on SNL was marked by more than just her musical talents. She also showcased her comedic side, joining McKinnon in a cat adoption sketch, where both humorously broke character. This appearance, her third in four years, underscores her versatile artistry and deep connection with the “SNL” audience.
