“Best of SKIMS” Campaign Flaunts a Truly Eclectic Mix of Cultural Icons

The latest SKIMS campaign flaunts a truly eclectic mix of cultural icons: Kim Cattrall, Hari Nef, Lana Condor, Coco Jones and Nelly Furtado each pose in their favorite pieces from the shapewear and loungewear brand in what it’s dubbed the “Best of Skims.”

As Fashionista reports, the brand, co-founded by Kim Kardashian and Jens Grede, is known for its timely campaigns that feature starlets of the time, whether that be SZA or actors from the viral season two of “White Lotus.” The latest imagery is a testament to that practice.

For example, Cattrall’s role in “Sex and the City” was iconic enough, but her 73-second appearance in the finale of “And Just Like That” resurrected her fandom’s energy. Nef recently starred in Greta Gerwig’s record-breaking “Barbie,” while Coco Jones is one of this generation’s most anticipated R&B artists. Each star exemplifies the Skims ethos, per the press release, by representing “empowerment and individual confidence.”

“It was so freeing to be able to pick my favorite Skims looks for the campaign, and the piece I loved the most was the Sculpting Mid Thigh Bodysuit,” Cattrall said in the press release. “It’s a phenomenal fit, and it makes me feel confident whenever I wear it.”
