Baseball season is in full swing, and Sunday was an action-packed day for all teams looking for a win.
The Oakland Athletics beat the Philadelphia Phillies, 4-1, after a great day of pitching from Oakland pitchers.
The Tampa Bay Rays shut out the Baltimore Orioles, 8-0. The Rays are a well-balanced team, and both their offense and pitching showed up on Sunday afternoon.
The Cleveland Guardians got off to a hot start on Sunday, as they went up 10-0 by the 2nd inning against the Kansas City Royals. The Guardians tacked on 7 more runs in their 17-3 victory.
After starting out with two straight victories, the Seattle Mariners were crushed by the Minnesota Twins on Sunday, with the Twins winning 10-4. The Twins hit six home runs in their victory over the Mariners.
Finally, the Texas Rangers slugged their way to a victory over the Toronto Blue Jays, with a 12-6 win. Utility man Brad Miller led the Rangers in scoring with four runs batted in on Sunday.
