Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin are preparing to welcome a daughter as the couple shared the exciting milestone with fans during a recent episode of Sprouse’s podcast, Wildmen.
The actor revealed he is thrilled to become a father to a baby girl, saying he is looking forward to embracing life as a girl dad. The couple has already given their daughter a sweet nickname, calling her “principessa,” the Italian word for princess.
Palvin, who is in her third trimester, also offered an honest look at her pregnancy journey. While grateful for the experience, she admitted it has been more physically demanding than she expected. She described dealing with back pain, difficulty sleeping, frequent hunger, and nausea, while emphasizing that every pregnancy is different.
The model also reflected on her previous battle with endometriosis, explaining that undergoing surgery before the couple began trying for a baby played an important role in improving her fertility. She said the procedure gave them greater confidence as they planned for parenthood.
The announcement builds on the couple’s pregnancy reveal earlier this year, when they introduced Palvin’s baby bump during appearances at the Cannes Film Festival. Since then, fans have eagerly followed the next chapter in their relationship.
Sprouse and Palvin, who married in Hungary in 2023 after several years together, are now counting down the weeks until they welcome their first child and begin life as a family of three.
