Canadian pop-punk icon Avril Lavigne is set to reignite the stage with her much-anticipated “Avril Lavigne: The Greatest Hits” tour in 2024. Beginning May 22 at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena, Lavigne promises a nostalgic journey through her biggest hits. Fans can expect to sing along to anthems like “Complicated,” “Sk8er Boi,” and “Girlfriend” across 27 electric dates.
Lavigne’s tour, produced by Live Nation, will bring the essence of early 2000s pop-punk to cities like Las Vegas, Phoenix, Ottawa, Toronto, Nashville, Milwaukee, Chicago, and Minneapolis. The tour’s final act is set to be a grand finale at Edmonton’s Rogers Place on September 16.
The tour will not just be a solo endeavor for Lavigne. She’s bringing along renowned bands Simple Plan and All Time Low for select dates, enhancing the throwback experience. Additionally, emerging artists Royal & the Serpent and Girlfriends will also grace the stage, offering a fresh take on the pop-punk genre.
Fans eager to secure their spot can access the artist presale beginning January 24. Following various presales throughout the week, general tickets will be available from January 26. The tour isn’t just limited to North America; Lavigne plans to rock the U.K. and Europe too, with festival appearances at Pinkpop in the Netherlands and Hurricane Festival in Germany.
