Though Danny Worsnop’s return to Asking Alexandria has been widely viewed as a success, the singer has also maintained his desire to pursue his other projects as well. With the bulk of Asking Alexandria’s touring winding down for the year, Worsnop is turning his attention back to his solo work by booking a late year tour of the U.S.
Starting Oct. 26 in Greenville, S.C., the singer will play a series of scattered dates in October, November and December that will provide a mix of older songs, some new tracks and a number of acoustic versions of tracks from the Asking Alexandria catalog.
Meanwhile, with new dates on the horizon, Worsnop has a new song to promote as well. The track is a tender piano ballad titled “Angels,” and the singer has made the video for the song a clip centering on his relationship with his fiancee. Back in August, Worsnop got down on one knee and proposed to Victoria Potter at one of the band’s performances. That footage is seen toward the end of the clip.
“Angels” will be featured on Worsnop’s “Shades of Blue” album and the song will be available digitally starting tomorrow. (Oct. 17)
